She was amazed at the number of varied bird species she met during her exploration: ‘Kiwi strolls along the ground, Mallard makes a quacking sound, Flamingo rests on just one leg, Budgie sits down on his perch, Dove is cooing near the church, Robin hops around and sings, Eagle spreads his massive wings, Penguin dives into the sea, Owl is sleeping up a tree, Heron fishes with his bill’ and more.
You can name all the birds you know and search for it in the book, Bird Search because it includes 16 different bird species. Bird Search uses simple, sparing language and rhyming in order to help children to remember the words for each animal and their actions.

Bird Search illustrates various birds from all over the world. Not only the birds we see around us, it introduces a number of bird species from different countries.
The illustration highly focuses on expressing certain characteristics of each bird. The use of rhyme in each sentences help the readers to easily read and understand.
Style-wise, the book was inspired by a mid-century artwork. You may also find the little girl in every page as if she is playing the game, hide and seek.
